Poet. Correspondence (1918–1941) of Daisy Lemon Coldiron with her publishers, with the Oklahoma Tuberculosis Association, and with local political candidates about women’s suffrage; a ledger (1924–1937) listing poem titles, publishers, and payments; and scrapbooks (1920–1941) containing published and unpublished poems, essays, and greeting card manuscripts, copies of Coldiron’s column called “Letters From Aunt Sallie,” and articles from literary and political sources on issues such as suffrage, prohibition, censorship, and eugenics. Also included in the collection is a typed manuscript of “Ballads of the Plains,” published posthumously in 1950.
