Historian. A transcript of an oral history interview (1984) conducted by Herbert R. Hengst with John S. Ezell, recounting Ezell’s tenure as dean of the University of Oklahoma College of Arts and Sciences; research and seminar papers (1955–1980) written by Ezell’s students and colleagues, including three by Jack Ericson Eblen concerning the growth of the African-American slave population in nineteenth-century America and Cuba, and one by Gary L. Cunningham concerning gambling in frontier Kansas.
