Photographer. Bristol worked as a photographer for Life and documented migrant farmers in California while accompanying John Steinbeck through California to create his "Grapes of Wrath" photo series. Bristol also photographed scenes of Africa and East Asia during the 1940s. This collection features background information about the photographer, some of his work in the magazines Life and Camera Craft. His work was displayed in an exhibit at the Fred Jones Museum of Art from 2013 to 2014.
