Handwritten accounts (1890–1920) of Capshaw’s experiences as a physician in Norman, Oklahoma Territory, and during the World War I influenza epidemic; and of the childhood of his son, Walter Capshaw. The collection also contains a diploma (1884) issued to Madison T. J. Capshaw by the Memphis Medical College in Tennessee, granting him the M.D. degree.
