Collector. The collection contains five books, including an eighteenth-century Bible; receipts and promissory notes (1809–1889); tax receipts (1871–1929); and a recipe for medicine (1839), all from the family of May Treadwell Choate, who settled first in Texas in the 1850s and then came to Oklahoma in 1905.
