Description
Cowboy. A typewritten autobiography (circa 1925) of Hancock’s life as a cowboy, primarily at the Woodard and Oge ranch near San Antonio, Texas. It also describes five of his trips driving cattle up the Western Trail, and the towns of San Antonio, Rockport, Fort Griffin, and Alpine, Texas, Camp Supply, and Fort Reno, Indian Territory, and Dodge City, Kansas, along with accounts of his work on ranches in Dakota Territory.
