Collector. A diary (1864) of E. B. Osborne, a Union soldier, in which he relates his experiences in Tennessee near the end of the Civil War, with detailed descriptions of his company’s participation in the Battle of Centerville of 1864; a trip to Georgia on the Chattahoochee, Macon, and Columbus Railroad; and a review of troops in Atlanta, Georgia, by Gen. William T. Sherman. Also included in the diary is a roster of men comprising Company I of the Thirty-first Ohio Infantry, with whom Osborne served.
