Correspondence (1906–1953) from friends and library associates, regarding the Oklahoma Library Commission and Oklahoma Library Association, including a letter from University of Oklahoma president David Ross Boyd, regarding Boyd’s dismissal and the dismissal of numerous faculty at the university, including Rader, by Governor C. N. Haskell; postcards (1907) of Virginia scenes; a speech (1952) delivered by Rader at a dinner in his honor; minutes (1952) of meetings of the Oklahoma Library Association; student grade reports (1905–1906) issued to Rader by the University of Oklahoma; consumer rationing books (1942–1943) used by Rader and family during World War II; publications (1901–1952), including a newspaper, the front page of which is devoted to news of the first oil well in the Oklahoma City oil field; an original book jacket for Adolph Hitler’s Mein Kampf; a University of Oklahoma student handbook (1904–1905); a magazine, The Delta, published by Sigma Nu; newspaper articles regarding the presidency of Theodore Roosevelt; certificates (1905–1951) issued to Rader; programs (1909–1910) of ceremonies and events conducted by University of Oklahoma fraternities and the Oklahoma Library Association; and constitutions and bylaws (1905–1907) of the Oklahoma Library Association and of University of Oklahoma student clubs and societies, including the Websterian Literary Society and Kanuntaklage Dramatic Club. Also included in this collection is an anthropometrical table (1902) used by the University of Oklahoma to measure and chart student physiques.
