Description
Professor. Correspondence (1909–1957) regarding the administration of the political science department at the University of Minnesota, Schaper’s dismissal from the university faculty in 1917 due to his stance on the war with Germany, and the state of the Progressive Party in the presidential election of 1912; and typescripts (circa 1922) of a speech by Professor Frederick Hindekoper regarding military policy and history. Also in this collection are publications (1913–1917), including a booklet urging citizens of Minneapolis, Minnesota, to vote for a new charter for that city, and the proceedings of the Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota regarding Schaper’s dismissal.
