Collector. The collection consists of photocopies and typescripts (1890–1987) regarding the life of Marjorie Beard Smalley; Beard family history; Depression-era Sapulpa, Oklahoma; her father Lyman F. Beard, who was a Rough Rider; and her mother Buda McCormick Beard, who was the first schoolteacher in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The collection also includes typescripts of newspaper articles and personal letters related to these and other family members, some of whom were prominent in Oklahoma history.
