Businessman. A manuscript (1932) of B. S. Stafford’s memoirs, entitled “Incidents and Recollections of My Life,” in which he describes the Civil War in South Carolina and slavery on his father’s plantation. Also included are accounts of land speculation and bank failures in Oklahoma and Texas.
