Brewer, and short manuscripts by Brewer concerning Methodism in Indian Territory, entitled “The Indians of Oklahoma,” “Muskogee Ministerial Association,” “Work Among the Indians,” “A Historical Sketch of our Work in Oklahoma,” “Meeting of the General Board of Education,” and “Spaulding Female College.” Also included is a manuscript poem (1863) entitled “Red Shiloh,” attributed to Brewer, and purportedly written after his participation in the Battle of Shiloh.
