Also included in this collection are sheriff deputization certificates (1895–1899); citizen announcements of cattle brands claimed (1894); one homestead certificate (1903); and one teacher certificate (1899), also from Greer County, Oklahoma Territory. The homestead certificate bears the signature of President Theodore Roosevelt, and a number of earlier documents bear the official stamp of Greer County, Texas. The teacher certificate is among the first issued in Greer County, Oklahoma Territory.
