Oklahoma colonist in Bolivia. Correspondence (1924–1928) from Marion Murray, the wife of Johnston Murray, to family members in Oklahoma regarding the experiences of the Murray family in Bolivia, including accounts of their travel to Bolivia, the establishment of Murray’s colony, and of its daily operation. A number of letters contain diagrams of the colony’s layout. Also included in this collection are miscellaneous items such as Bolivian travel permits, newspapers, artifacts, and newspaper articles (1932–1936) regarding William H. Murray.
