Collector. An unpublished book-length manuscript (n.d.) by William E. Reed, entitled “As It Should Be,” and letters (1941) by Reed describing the history of the town of Paris, Illinois, from the 1860s forward. The manuscript is a work of fiction set in Oklahoma at the close of the Civil War.
